Overview

Pausely is a sensory interruption app designed to help you regulate emotions through guided breathing exercises. Your privacy matters. Pausely is built to work offline and stores your data locally on your device.

Data We Collect

Session data (stored locally only)

When you complete a session, the app saves the date, duration, and mode used. This data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is never transmitted to any server. You can delete the app at any time to remove all local data.

Analytics (anonymous)

Pausely uses Firebase Analytics (without Advertising ID) to understand how features are used. This includes anonymous events such as session starts, session completions, and settings changes. No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out of analytics by disabling "Share iPhone Analytics" in your device's Settings > Privacy > Analytics.

Crash reports

Pausely uses Sentry to collect crash reports. These reports include device type, OS version, and technical stack traces to help us fix bugs. No personal data is included in crash reports.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No location data
• No contacts or address book data
• No photos, camera, or microphone access
• No advertising identifiers or ad tracking
• No health or fitness data
• No browsing history

In-App Purchases

Pausely offers a premium upgrade through Apple's App Store. All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not process, store, or have access to any payment information.

Third-Party Services

Pausely uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous usage analytics without Advertising ID. Privacy info
• Sentry — crash reporting. Privacy info
• Apple StoreKit — in-app purchases. Privacy info

Children's Privacy

Pausely does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information from any user.

Data Retention

All session data is stored locally on your device and retained until you delete the app. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase according to Google's standard data retention policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
